Tim Cresswell is Ogilvie Professor of Geography at the University of Edinburgh. His research considers the role of geographical ways of thinking in the constitution of social and cultural life. He is currently working on a book on the politics of mobility called The Citizen and the Vagabond. His motto: mobility is a lot more than getting from point A to point B.
