Vincent Goulet (Sociologist)
After going to film school and working for 10 years as a video editor, Vincent Goulet studied sociology at EHESS focusing on issues relating to the media, journalists and audiences. In 2009, he completed a PhD with a doctoral dissertation on the use of information in working classes (for which he was awarded the INA research prize). In 2010, he was hired as a lecturer in information and communication at the University of Lorraine, where he worked on cross-border information flows in the Greater Region of SaarLorLux. Since leaving the University in 2014, he has conducted research on the cross-border labor market in the Upper Rhine as a research associate at SAGE (CNRS / University of Strasbourg).
