Simon Cook
Simon Cook is a Human Geographer and Senior Lecturer in Academic Support at Birmingham City University. He is also based in the Department of Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London where he is writing his PhD. His research concerns the practices of everyday life; the ways in which they happen and change, and what they can tell us about societies and spaces. Currently he is exploring the practice of running and his doctoral research explores the emergence and potential of run-commuting as an urban mode of mobility.
