Françoise Dureau, Honorary Research Director at the IRD (Institut de recherche pour le développement), is a geographer and demographer. She has worked on the different spatial mobilities of urban dwellers in Southern countries, especially in Latin America, and the relationship between these mobilities and urban dynamics.
