Graham Parkhurst ( Researcher )
Dr Graham Parkhurst is Professor of Sustainable Mobility and Director of the Centre for Transport & Society, University of the West of England, Bristol, UK. He has qualifications in psychology, physical anthropology, and transport geography. Transport and mobility issues have been the focus of a research career which began in 1991, leading to over 150 publications. Graham’s research in the last decade has focussed on the political context and sustainability implications of emerging transport technologies, including road transport automation, the transition to electric vehicles, digitally-enabled transport services, and ‘future flight’. Graham is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
