Claire Pelgrims hold a PhD in Urban Planning from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). During PhD, she focused on the imaginaries of speed and slowness in the evolution of mobility infrastructures in Brussels since the mid-20th century. Her postdoctoral research seeks a broad understanding of mobility infrastructures in relation to gender, aesthetics and functionality.
