Xabier Gangoiti is a PhD student at the University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain, working on a thesis about Henri Lefebvre and the production of space. His research interests lie in the intersection of urban sociology, spatial theory, and critical geography. He is particularly interested in exploring the ways in which space is socially produced and how it shapes our everyday lives. Prior to starting his PhD, Xabier worked as a research associate at the Centre for Transport & Society at the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK. He has a background in Economics & Urban Sociology.
