Arve Hansen

Arve Hansen was born in Volda, Norway on February 22nd, 1982. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Development and the Environment, University of Oslo, where he was also based during his PhD. His thesis was defended at University of Oslo’s Department of Sociology and Human Geography in June 2016. His supervisors were Professor Harold Wilhite (Centre for Development and the Environment) and Professor Hege Merete Knutsen (Department of Sociology and Human Geography).
