Ishan Tankha

Photojournalist

Ishan Tankha is a Delhi-based independent photojournalist whose work has been featured in a number of publications including South China Morning Post, Le Monde, India Today, The Guardian, Le Soir, and Open Magazine among others. His work covers a range of subjects from natural disasters to the visits of heads of state, insurgency in Kashmir, life in post-war Sri Lanka to the Indian cricket team’s tour of Pakistan. His serie ‘A Peal of Spring Thunder’ received the FIND grant for project assistance in 2013 and a was a finalist in the Alkazi Foundation Grant for a dummy book in 2016.
