Thiago Guimarães Rodrigues is a PhD candidate at the Institute for Transport Studies of the University of Leeds (UK). His research adopts a mixed-method approach to explore how a public transport policy can address accessibility and mobility needs of socially disadvantaged population groups. The research is supported by a competitive scholarship from the Brazilian Council for Scientific and Technological Development.
